Remnants.

I was browsing through my Gmail account and I noticed that I actually had a file labelled “Notes.”

Never noticing that previously, I decided to click on it and see what the universe would throw in my lap.

In it contained some poetry that I never remembered writing, a strange code (probably for some webpage or rather) and two songs that I was noting to myself to remember (probably for a workout playlist.)

Maybe they weren’t written by me, because I really have no recollection of writing them. But their simplicity is stunning and I love it.

Sorry if I hurt you, it wasn't my intention, now I regret all I've said,

Foolish and now regrets, I preferred that I was dead,

Now all I look forward to is the silent of the night,

Wishing I could look into your eyes

Listening to the water, sitting by the bathtub, imaging you were here,

You'd throw me that simple smile, knocking me out and we'd blow the bubbles together

Looking at the photos I noticed with you I could smile,

Now without you I kept them in a file.

Hoping one day you would come and see me,

To open up my cabinet of love where I left you behind when I'm supposed to be there for you

For those of you familiar with my previous works of poetry, you’d probably also know that I am a stickler for rhyming. I love rhyming poetry and I love the flow it does as it floats off my tongue as I read it out loud. Tooting own horn  much eh? But no, this doesn’t seem like my kinda stuff.

But anyway, nothing else much to write here. To be perfectly honest, I do have a few things up my sleeve that I’ll probably get around to in the very near future but for now, I’m just enjoying my day off. Muahahahaha.
