Fitness Update

Well, so much for trying to be in the best shape of my life.

I come home from work and all I can do each night is get ready to collapse and call it a day.

And so much for early morning starts either. If I even move an eyelid before 7, I consider it worth getting a Big Breakfast. Um...this is a fitness update, right? Oops. +P

Anyway, good intentions aside, I decided to hit the bar and crank out as many pullups as I need to hit 30. I think I did it in about 20 minutes and doing the last few reps with arms that resembled and felt more like cooked spaghetti than steel crowbars.

On the upside, I've managed to hit 10 pullups in a row before needing to drop down and die. I hit it the other day when I was feeling slightly more energetic pulling up after my 9th so I decided to hang on for a bit longer, catch my breath, and get that chin over the damn bar. I really should put up video proof. After all, boasting is all well and good but seeing is believing, no? And I can't say that my body didn't try and compensate like crazy so to be fair, I'm probably cheating a little bit but hey, I'm hitting 10!!!

Its definitely going to be a while before I'm hitting 25 but if I can at LEAST hit 15 and above before heading back to the Land of the Long White Cloud, I'll be happy. For now.
