Sometimes...sweetness is overrated.

Some people just don't seem to get it, though.

Sometimes, its not about the sweetness. Its not about the comfort. Its not about the pleasure.

Its about the bitterness. Its about the discomfort. Its about the displeasure that sometimes, just seems to want to rise up and choke you in a pool of your own bile and vomit.

See, when you don't have the comfort, you learn to appreciate the small things in life. Its bad for people like me who settle easily and don't really seem to mind. After all, I'd like to think I adapt well. And that no matter what, it takes a bit more to shoo me out. I'm a bit like a cockroach. Indestructible like that.

But sometimes, you feel like giving up just a little. Taking it easy. Its easy to get sucked back into the world where you do not think and you just do. Save the brainpower for something better, why don't you?

Its tiring to think. Its tiring to have to use your brain to make all these really smart decisions because you have to on a pretty regular basis. Its like when a new toy loses its novelty and suddenly, it just becomes something that's really commonplace. Like using your favourite song as your alarm clock. such. a bad idea.

And yes, sometimes, the smiling lion can REALLY piss me off. I'm bad with animals that way.

Its 12.11a.m. in the morning and I am blogging in the middle of the night. Familiar territory, that's for sure. Nothing like the quiet to inspire the brain to finally break that blogger's block.

I'm stalking again.

I'm stalking people that I have not seen or heard from for a long time and amazingly enough, they all have quit blogging. Surprise surprise?

Apparently, a really good reason to stop blogging is to be married. After all, having a ring on your 4th finger does make it so much harder to press the 's' key, isn't it? Stops the flow from happening. Heck, I like what I'm writing now, even though it doesn't make sense.

And things are always better with bacon. Even though its turkey bacon and not of the "snort snort, oink oink" variety.

I was telling the Sociologist (who happened to drop by into my part of the world just very recently and with whom I shall be spending more awesome times together) that I was having trouble crafting a blog post. Its made up of "too many pictures and stupid words", I recalled saying.

This picture somehow reminded me of the quote oft used in exams, "Look up for inspiration, look down in desperation, look sideways for information."

Huh.

Anyway, I'm probably sleep blogging. Hah.

Tootles.
