So for the last two weeks or so, I've been doing a little fasting experiment.
This involves eating nothing from the time dinner is ingested the night before until dinner the night after. This gives me roughly about 24 hours of fasting time which, research has shown, has been able to help reduce fat, aid in gaining muscle, a natural way of boosting growth hormone, and helps reduce a myriad of diseases and health conditions.
I've been doing this once or twice a week with, I would say, varying degrees of success. First off, my workout schedule has been completely thrown off, especially since I have not been too disciplined about it. Managed to do a good workout last night which definitely helped so that's a start, at least.
Since then, I have lost around 1.4kg which is for me, quite successful, considering my weight fluctuates like a yo-yo on speed. Technically, 500g a week is a good start so to lose around 700g is a pretty damn good deal. I have a little weight loss challenge bet with my colleague that looks at us losing about 3kg by the end of March. And so far, so good. Need to lose some more, I think. Heh.
Right. 12.24a.m. right now so needing to get some sleep. Early start tomorrow. Nights, y'all.
